We drove Horse Pasture Road to Jumping Off Rock Overlook in July 2020, and it's my favorite place that we've visited in South Carolina so far. For a shorter outing this is a great option. Lots of views and open to quads and campers. Though the name is misleading (you should not jump off this rock) it was the most beautiful view of a huge lake, little islands, and lush trees. You can safely maintain social distancing while taking in the beautiful scenery. That water is so beautiful, I was very tempted to take a jump in February.
