Not worth the money IMO - stick with stock. Depends how much of a price is like 70 a pop, i'd get them is they were like half that. They sure do look purtyyyy though. A alternative to the APR Ignition Coils I'd consider are the RS3 coils. Any of you running high performance ignition coils??
I coud see if there was 3' between the coil and plug, then you would want the lowest ohm wire, highest volt coil available. They are not an upgrade. So for me these will help to pick up that little extra. Just make sure your obd-2 car is tuned for it or you'll have adaption disabled by the dme without knowing what's wrong. I can definatly feel it.... i would say the bavarian coils arent a bad alternative to stock coils. Better throttle response as well. I don't know what the MSD coils are rated at voltage wise, but I would assume they are equivalent to the voltage rating of the stock coils.

I couldn't believe the difference it made. They run cooler, resist preignition, last longer than other materials with higher melting points, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. No issues with blowing spark out. Anthony knows that my track Corvette does not have junk non-performing parts. The hotter bavauto coils theoretically should reduce that blow out, but this is hard to test. Would there be a notice in performance gain or with out the ignition upgrade would it be useless?
