Pharaoh should find an intelligent and wise man and put him in charge of the entire land of Egypt (Genesis 41:33). In the second, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowed down to him. Joseph could not run but he could have asked God for help; he did not and the evil of others overwhelmed him and hurt him. When we have times in our lives where we are being treated unfairly or things seem to be continually against us, we can look to Joseph for a great example of how to keep our eyes on God and continue to live in integrity and have confidence that God will come through for us at his perfect timing. As nothing compares to reading a literary work in its original language – for those who are interested – it is hoped that this Story of Joseph will serve as a convenient tool and platform to "reverse engineer" ancient Biblical Hebrew, i. e. by comparing the literal translation into English offered here, and studying the Biblical Hebrew with this modern, accurate, literal, word-for-word translation of the Story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis (Be-Resheet). Most of us grew up and now live without realizing that it is acceptable behaviour to ask questions about our traditional religion. After Joseph interprets the baker's and cup-bearer's dreams, he asks the cup-bearer, whom he knew would soon be promoted back to his job, to remember him and hopefully aid in getting him freed from his wrongful imprisonment. Finally, he is called to interpret the dreams of the Pharaoh that no one in Egypt can understand.

Those who are trained up to do nothing, are likely to be good for nothing. Like you, I have been told that I'll be going to hell and will be leading others there with me because of my message of grace and love. Is it possible, I asked, that Satan is not real? When Joseph reported having dreams of his brothers, and even the stars and moon, bowing before him, their jealousy of Joseph grew into action. For reasons made a little clearer by the fact we know Potiphar was a eunuch, his wife became desirous of Joseph and tried to have sex with him. They appeared before Joseph to ask for Egypt's help, but they did not recognize him as their brother. The thrust of her attack, however, is not that she may have been sexually attacked, but that a foreigner had such power in the household and thought he could try something like this. The first portion, Genesis 1 through 11 is prehistory. Joseph's brethren were wonderfully restrained from murdering him, and their selling him as wonderfully turned to God's praise.
But Joseph was quiet. The law has been broken and the state must try and punish the criminal. "Why do you look so worried today? With this in mind, it should not be a surprise to learn a lot of lessons and principles from the life of Joseph. This sets the stage for the next story, the slavery in Egypt and the exodus. He revealed to them that he was their brother Joseph, and they were filled with remorse. Satan is smarter and stronger than we are by ourselves – when you hear or see a poisonous snake, you do not tease it or play with it, you run away. This includes the founding of the Jewish people and God's promise of the land. This must teach every Christian something today. See how deliberate Joseph's brethren were against him.
Satan is very wise and would present sin as something desirable. Thus the Jews understood what Christ said of his kingdom. You will never be able to escape its ugly and deadly effect. He brings all the resources of Egypt to make his family comfortable. I assure you, a discussion on this most polarizing topic will leave your listeners demanding to hear more. 9There is no one greater in this house than I, and he has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. Joseph is loved by Jacob but hated by his brethren. Despite being sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph remained faithful and trusted in God to deliver him from tribulation. The fact that Joseph served and saw to their needs says that they were well treated while the investigation went on. We live in a world where we are bombarded with many opportunities of instant gratification. The last part is the desert experience, the giving of the Torah, and the journey to the Promised Land. He recommends a plan to collect grain and store it for the lean years. His brothers were jealous of him and sold him into slavery.
